charlton heston has died
April 6, 2008 at 12:24 pm | In Movies, In Memoriam |Legendary actor Charlton Heston died yesterday at age 84.
Heston brought dignity and gravitas to his film roles, whether he was portraying important historical and mythic figures (Moses in The Ten Commandments, Judah Ben-Hur in Ben Hur, Michelangelo in The Agony and The Ecstasy, Marc Antony in Julius Caesar and Antony and Cleopatra) or playing the strong, lone hero facing unusual circumstances (Planet of the Apes, Earthquake, The Omega Man, Soylent Green).
I’ll always remember Heston as The Greatest Show on Earth’s gruff, fedora-wearing circus manager Brad, who was fiercely devoted to his circus and to trapeze artist Holly (Betty Hutton) but would punch you in the face if you mentioned it; as the rich, rugged, cruel Boake in Ruby Gentry, deeply embroiled in a love/hate relationship with Jennifer Jones’ seductive Ruby; and as the resentful ranch manager in lush epic The Big Country.
Today is a sad day.

it is sad for passing away of Charlton Heston.I first saw his film when i was young boy, my dad used to tell me about Him.Through his film acting as moses gave me strength to know how God is powerful. By then i used to ask myself who took camera at those early times?,who monitored the life of moses?, in the world had there any been technology those days?
Through Charlton’s Film i
became eager to know more about God, even up to date am child of God.
