I hadn't thought about that angle. I do post reviews here from time to time, albeit infrequently, and I include posts -- as I have time -- that are personal, silly and/or opionated and aren't purely informational. I haven't read any reviews on ew.com (I subscribe to the magazine and it never occurred to me before to look at their online reviews to see the comments and reactions) but I've seen some ridiculous and downright nasty comments on imdb.com. That way this site can remain a place for news and information without getting bogged down in opinions. I'm afraid that if you did to reviews that it would bring up accusations of bias when you report news items.
