film news:flicketyfit.com, help needed for local film, hocus focus productions

*Have you heard of www.flicketyfit.com? It’s like Netflix, but with exercise DVDs. If you’ve signed up with them, I’d like to hear about your experience. I’m curious.

*The Guzzo brothers, Chris Woods and other local filmmakers are shooting a horror short film in less than 2 weeks. The shot will be done on a Friday night and all day Saturday. They still have to confirm a date, but it will be in the next couple weeks. They’ll be shooting in Ybor City in an old cigar factory.

They’re looking for people who can light, grip, do sound, etc. and also for people who have lighting and sound equipment.   1. hey, I can tell you flicketyfit service is not worth buying. Their dvd selections wasn’t that great, the dvds arrived very slowly, and customer service was HORRIBLE. I tried the free trial, and they “accidentally” billed me. And guess what?, I never received a refund even after contacting them several times! I hear Netflix also has exercise dvds and their service is great (or at least better), so I’m going to try them.

  3. I’ve been renting fitness dvd with flicketyfit because I didnt know about Netflix. This services is terrible, slow, the dvds are scrathes, never goes with your option from the rental list and lately Ive been emailing them 3 times and still havent get any answer.
