film noir film festival in st. pete

The Studio(at)620 in St. Pete has a film noir film festival that started yesterday and runs through December 6th. Each night is a different theme, like “Damsels Causing Distress:Femme Fatales of Film Noir” or “Black and White in Color:The Many Shades of Noir.”

In addition to classic films, there will be radio plays, lectures, and an exhibit of over 200 genre paperback book covers. This film festival is curated by local film buffs Rich Agan and Margaret Murray. I’ve met Margaret on several occasions. She’s a talented and creative film curator and programmer.
