Film Florida, the non-profit organization whose purpose is to represent Florida’s film and entertainment industries and promote the creation of jobs in the industry, recently elected its officers and board members for 2005-06. That leadership includes locals George Cornelius of Tampa Digital Studios, who was elected Secretary, and Krista Soroka, Tampa Bay Film Commissioner, who was elected to serve on the Film Commission Council Board.

Congratulations George and Krista!

  1. Unrelated. I saw the new Harry Potter film. I give it a 6 on a 1-10 scale. R. Fiennes was excellent as Voldemort. I like that the characters are older and dealing with typical teenage issues. It was fun to see Hermoine transform into Cinderella for the dance. I’ve read all of the books and I’m looking forward to the last book and the next three movies. Let me know what you think.

  2. Thanks for sharing your thoughts on this movie. I haven’t seen it yet, but I’m hoping to catch up on some movie-viewing over the long weekend.
